Ryan Seacrest’s family is growing! The American Idol host welcomed a new addition to his family — and fans are freaking out! See the adorable photo below.

Seacrest has been hosting American Idol since it first debuted in 2002. The popular singing competition follows unknown artists from across the country as they compete for a recording contract and $250,000. The winner is determined by American viewers, who can vote for their favorite artists at home. Some of the biggest names in the music industry have come out of the show, including Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, Chris Daughtry and Fantasia Barrino, among others. After 15 seasons on air, the series was canceled by FOX in 2016. It was revived by ABC a few years later in 2018 and Seacrest returned to the show as host. Lionel Richie, Luke Bryan and Katy Perry were brought on as judges and have remained on the show for the past seven seasons; the currently airing Season 22 will be Perry’s last season.

In addition to hosting American Idol, Seacrest is also gearing up to take on a new gig. In late 2024, the television personality will be taking over Pat Sajak’s role as the host of Wheel of Fortune. While the television personality’s schedule is about to get a lot busier, he still has time for his family. Seacrest is the proud dog dad of two Labradors, the second of which joined the family in early February 2024.

Seacrest introduced his latest addition on Instagram, writing alongside pictures of the yellow Labrador: “Our regular reminder of how much I love EVOO… Introducing our newest family member – Olio!”

The pup, named Olio, joins Georgia, a black Labrador that Seacrest has had for years. On Feb. 20, Seacreast shared photos of Georgia acclimating to her new sibling and playing with him. “Sibling love. Georgia’s become more energetic and playful since meeting her younger brother 💛 Happy #NationalLoveYourPetDay,” he captioned the post.

The Live With Kelly and Ryan alum discussed Olio and Georgia’s relationship while visiting his old stomping grounds. “Georgia rolled her eyes for a couple of months,” he said on Live With Kelly and Mark. “And now they’re close.”

He also explained the dog’s unique moniker. “He speaks Italian and he loves marinara,” he joked to his former co-worker Kelly Ripa and his replacement, Mark Consuelos, adding: “He’s named after olive oil.” Ripa then asked if Olio truffle hunts. “Is this one of your truffle-hunting dogs?” she said, to which Seacrest quipped: “I haven’t entered Olio into the school yet at the training of language school truffle hunting, you know.”

A few days after he introduced Olio to the world, Seacrest also went Instagram official with his girlfriend, Aubrey Paige. after three years of keeping their relationship off social media. He dedicated a tribute to the model on Valentine’s Day, sharing several photos of the two of them celebrating the day at Disneyland’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The post also included a photo of the Valentine’s Day gifts Paige got him, which included cookie dough, ice cream, flowers and a giant balloon display. The last video in the carousel post even featured Olio giving his dad a kiss and confusingly sniffing the balloons.

“Happy #ValetinesDay @aubreypaige__, can’t wait to eat that cookie dough with you but first, @disneyparks churros,” Seacrest wrote in the caption.
