Judge delays sentencing for former Osceola Mills mayor who shot at Pokmon Go players

Authorities in Clearfield County confirmed that the sentencing hearing has been delayed for the former mayor of Osceola Mills, who was charged last year for firing a gun in the direction of two people who were allegedly playing the online game Pokémon Go.

Clearfield County District Attorney Ryan Sayers says Ida Reams had agreed to plead guilty to one count of making terroristic threats and two counts of reckless endangerment.

Officials say she faced a minimum sentence of time served, but during her sentencing earlier this week, authorities say President Judge Fredric Ammerman stopped the hearing because he "wanted to take a closer look at the case."

Authorities say Reams' sentencing has been continued for one month.

State police arrested her last March following an altercation and shooting outside the local Community Food Bank.

Her most serious charge of aggravated assault was withdrawn during the preliminary hearing.
